We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Math Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and education, and a passion for helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role involves planning and delivering engaging math instruction aligned with state and national standards for grades 9–12.
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in various math subjects (e.g., Algebra I/II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics) based on the curriculum.
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the maturity and interests of students.
Assess student progress and performance regularly through homework, tests, and other evaluations.
Use technology and other instructional tools to enhance learning.
Provide timely feedback to students and communicate academic progress to parents and guardians.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and school-wide initiatives.
Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
Maintain accurate records, including attendance and grade books.
Implement school policies and classroom management strategies effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid state teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics.
Prior experience teaching at the high school level is preferred.
Strong knowledge of math content and effective instructional strategies.
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
