Hyde Leadership Charter School-Brooklyn seeks a General Education Teacher to support student progress by coordinating on lesson planning, sharing data, team teaching and providing information and materials to families.

Through excellent communication, organizational skills and great energy the General Education Teacher supports the academic and personal growth of our students, while ensuring they follow school-wide expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Master’s degree in Education or relevant content area (preferred).
• New York State Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons and manage classroom in an inspiring, rigorous and urgent way.
• Use State Standards as a guide for planning.
• Collaborate with grade level teams to support student progress.
• Communicate with families to inform on student progress.
• Meet all test and data reporting deadlines.
• Attend weekly grade level planning meetings.
