Job summary

Heritage Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to plan, organize and implement an instructional program guiding scholars toward academic excellence. Under supervision of the Principal, you will deliver lessons, monitor progress, and provide feedback to students and parents.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, 3–5 years teaching experience, and fingerprint clearance (FP Card). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite is expected.

Qualifications

• Fingerprint clearance required (FP Card).
• 3–5 years teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to enforce high standards of behavior, dress and character.
• Proficient with computers and software applications including Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
• Provide direct instruction using a traditional curriculum and monitor scholars' progress.
• Observe and evaluate scholars’ performance and development; assign and grade work.
• Maintain accurate records of scholars’ progress and communicate with parents and colleagues.
• Use technology to support and differentiate instruction and participate in meetings.
