Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher to lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom and implement the company's curriculum with attention to each child's unique needs.

You will create a safe, nurturing environment, partner with parents, and collaborate with center staff to drive enrollment, accreditation, and family engagement while supporting outstanding early education for children.

Qualifications

• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or in process
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support the center’s success by partnering with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
