Job summary

Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician for the Phoenix Upper Campus (4th-12th Grade) to implement ABA strategies and support students with autism.

Under the supervision of the ABA Co-Director, you will work on classroom teams to reinforce behavior plans, assist with lessons, and mentor paraprofessionals, helping students access the curriculum and meet IEP goals. Qualifications

• Experience in a classroom setting.
• Understanding of autism behavioral characteristics.
• Foundational knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication with parents and educators.
• Ability to train others in behavior management.
• Track record of successful behavior management with autism.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance required.
• First aid/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-based instructional strategies in classroom.
• Support academic instruction and behavior plans as part of a team.
• Assist with lesson delivery and preparing materials.
• Help students participate in routines, transitions, and self-care.
• Mentor/paraprofessionals and train staff.
• Follow tier-one behavior supports and plans.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance.
• Assist with lifting, feeding, toileting as needed.
• Attend work consistently.
