Job summary

Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 is seeking a Community Education/Adult Basic Education/ESL Teacher to support local learners across morning, afternoon and evening classes. Substitute coverage is on-call, and the district offers a per-unit agreement as part of compensation.

Current MN teaching license or a bachelor’s degree is required, with preferred experience in adult education, cross-cultural teaching, basic computer skills, and GED prep language arts and math instruction.

Qualifications

• Current MN Teaching License or a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college
• Experience with adult students preferred

Responsibilities

• Instructs students when the classroom teacher is absent
• Maintains attendance records when the teacher is absent
• Follows the classroom teacher’s lesson plans and instructions
• Communicates with the classroom teacher, as needed
