You will guide students through integrated Earth, Life, and Physical Science topics aligned with NGSS and NJSLS, fostering scientific literacy and inquiry.

The role emphasizes inquiry-based learning, collaboration with the science department, and planning to support diverse learners while maintaining district standards and safety

Qualifications

• Certification in NJ with middle school science specialization.
• Strong command of NGSS and NJSLS through instruction.
• Experience using Google Apps for Education and digital data tools.

Responsabilités

• Weather and Climate Instruction (Earth Science): teach water cycle, data on air masses, currents, density, and weather forecasting.
• Ecology and Environment Instruction (Life Science): teach photosynthesis, respiration, matter cycling, ecosystems, biodiversity impacts.
• Waves, Sound, and Light Instruction (Physical Science): teach wave properties and light behavior across media.
• Inquiry-Based & Three-Dimensional Learning: NGSS 3-Dim investigations, simulations, labs.
• Collaborative Planning: work with colleagues to align with district curricula and adjust rigor for diverse learners.
