Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a coach in Minnesota to instruct and develop student athletes. Responsibilities include teaching fundamental skills, fostering character, and ensuring adherence to ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
• Examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the sport.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes on fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training for success.
• Demonstrate socially acceptable behavior and character development.
• Adhere to the Minnesota State High School League 'Code of Ethics'.
• Regular attendance at all games and practice sessions.
• Perform duties assigned by head coach or athletic director.

Duties

• Instruct athletes on fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for individual and team success
• Demonstrate and instruct behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self discipline, confidence, and pride of accomplishments in student athletes
• Generate an attitude of fair play for adhering to the Minnesota State High School League “Code of Ethics”
• Be in regular attendance at all games and practice sessions
• Perform various duties as assigned by head coach or athletic director

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of all athletic policies and implementation by the entire staff on the program
• State and league regulations; implements the same consistency with all staff
• Knowledge of Minnesota State High School League

QUALIFICATIONS:
