Job summary

Job description

Duties

• Instruct athletes on fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for individual and team success
• Demonstrate and instruct behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self discipline, confidence, and pride of accomplishments in student athletes
• Generate an attitude of fair play for adhering to the Minnesota State High School League “Code of Ethics”
• Be in regular attendance at all games and practice sessions
• Perform various duties as assigned by head coach or athletic director

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of all athletic policies and implementation by the entire staff on the program
• State and league regulations; implements the same consistency with all staff
• Knowledge of Minnesota State High School League

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport
• Continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the sport
• Have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
