Job summary

Irving Independent School District is seeking a qualified Teacher to provide engaging learning experiences in core subjects. This exempt position reports to the Campus Principal and participates in 187 duty days per year, with local funding.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, state certification, and ability to implement TEA-aligned instruction, monitor student progress, and incorporate technology to enhance learning. ESL certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and Texas teaching certification required.
• Texas Reading Academy completion for Elementary.
• ESL Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with TEA guidelines.
• Present subject matter according to district policies.
• Use data to plan instructional strategies and activities.
• Collaborate with staff to meet diverse learner needs.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning.
