Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college.
• Current Montana Educators License.
• Experience implementing standards based instruction is preferred.
• K-4 teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers elementary curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Maintains safe, conducive learning environment for individualized and small group instruction.
• Plans lessons and instructional materials to optimize classroom time.
• Assesses student learning and adapts methods to meet diverse needs.
• Instructs on citizenship and subject matter per applicable laws and district procedures.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and collaboration with staff.
• Keeps accurate records of student progress, grades and attendance as required.
• Encourages parental involvement and communicates effectively with families.
• Ensures student behavior aligns with school standards and policies.
• Participates in grade-level collaborations and committees.
