• Meets and instructs assigned classes.
• Develops and maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of the sources provided by the district.
• Prepares for classes assigned, and shows written evidence of preparation upon requests of immediate supervisor.
• Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior established by administrators and teachers.
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent with the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.
• Tests students, records grades, and sends progress reports to parents, effectively and on time.
• Works with principal, counselor, and supervisory staff in identifying and solving problems related to his/her students.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
