Job summary

Wenatchee Public Schools seeks a Math Teacher at Wenatchee High School for the 2nd semester (.4 FTE, non-continuing).

You will teach multiple math subjects, align with district curriculum, report pupil progress to parents, and participate in district in-service education and meetings. Strong certification and ability to work with diverse students is essential; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington state certification with appropriate endorsement(s).
• Ability to instruct all levels of math.
• Evidence of exemplary human relation skills.
• Evidence of exemplary organizational and planning skills.
• Evidence of the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work as a team player and understand the needs of high school aged students.
• Experience teaching math to high school students is preferred.
• Experience using Agile Minds Intensified Algebra preferred.
• Bilingual/blliterate (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.

Responsibilities

• Ability to teach multiple math subjects.
• Plan, implement and evaluate classroom instruction consistent with building and district curriculum.
• Report pupil progress to parents.
• Support programs and building/district in-service education programs.
• Attend building/district meetings and conferences as required.
• Other related duties as assigned.
