Job summary

FVI School of Nursing and Technology – MIAMI CAMPUS seeks a Practical Nursing Instructor to provide direct didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction aligned to program outcomes and safe nursing practice standards.

The role involves delivering PN curriculum content, supervising students in clinicals and labs, and evaluating performance with standard tools. Spanish and English proficiency plus RN licensure and a BSN are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) Florida State license.
• Minimum of three years clinical experience as an RN.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PN curriculum content using approved teaching methodologies.
• Supervise students in clinicals and laboratory settings.
• Evaluate student performance using standardized assessment tools.
• Participate in student remediation and retention initiatives.
• Maintain clinical competence and instructional effectiveness.
