Job Description

The Inspector will perform visuals, mechanical and non-destructive examination and testing of all equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and direct daily job duties with Inspector Helpers.
2. Train, direct, and oversee Inspector Helpers on job-related duties.
3. Maintain accurate reporting on equipment being inspected.
4. Ensure that all specs and procedures are adhered to.
5. Ensure that equipment used for inspection is in good working condition and calibrated.
6. Read and interpret specifications and procedures.
7. Interpret and record results of inspection and tests. Assign status to productions based on interpretations. Determine utility of equipment.
8. Perform and record nondestructive examination using ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual methods.
9. Perform sampling of applicable processes. Prepare and conduct appropriate tests and inspections on samples, as applicable.
10. Follow and adhere to all Quality System and HS&E requirements.
11. Communicate job status with Facility Inspection Manager and all parties involved.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certified as an ASNT Level II in NDT methods.
• Knowledge of inspection methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of various drilling and production equipment to be inspected.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Education:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work-related experience.
