Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies seeks a Quality Inspector to perform inspections, tests, and sampling for aerospace component manufacturing on the first shift in East Windsor, CT. You will read drawings, verify specifications, and document results while collaborating with quality and production teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in quality inspection, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with measuring tools and marking equipment.

• Reads and interprets drawings and blueprints for inspection criteria.
• Interprets inspection plans and customer specifications.
• Performs dimensional inspections using measuring tools.
• Maintains attention to detail in all quality checks.
• Communicates findings to production and quality teams.

Responsibilities

InspectorThe Quality Inspector is responsible for performing a variety of inspections, checks and tests for quality control for the manufacturing of products.The Quality Inspector will have the opportunity to work with the quality and production teams ensuring quality-produced items.
