Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking an Inspector Packer for the D shift (7:00pm–7:00am) to support our manufacturing line. You will pack products into containers, seal and label packages, inspect items, and ensure quality standards are met.

The role requires standing for long periods and working around production equipment in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school education and 0–1 year in manufacturing or packaging, with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow

Qualifications

• High school or Grade 10 level education.
• 0–1 year of experience in manufacturing/packaging.

Responsibilities

• Pack products into containers/cartons.
• Seal and label packages.
• Inspect products, materials, and containers.
• Maintain organized workspace and clean area.

Role and Responsibilities

• Pack products into containers/cartons
• Seal and label packages
• Prepare products for shipping or storage
• Inspect products, materials, and containers
• Ensure products meet company quality standards
• Identify and report defects or issues
• Operate or assist with machines (e.g., conveyors)
• Start/stop or monitor equipment
• Keep work area clean
• Maintain organized workspace
• Work efficiently and meet production goals
• Follow instructions and procedures
• Be reliable and consistent
• Communicate issues to supervisors
• Other duties may be assigned.

Safety and Compliance

• Following workplace safety rules (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety Act)
• Reporting hazards or unsafe conditions
• Working safely around machinery
• Food safety, but the core safety expectation is the same.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• High school / Grade 10 level education
• Little to some experience (0–1 year) in manufacturing/packaging
