Job Description

Cielo is seeking an Inspector/Packer for a 3rd shift position in Ashland.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack bags to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line.
• Ensure that box/tote counts are accurate as per the bag specification.
• Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported for review and decision.
• Work as a team with others assigned to machine, including helping operators as needed.
• Practice 5S, Good House Keeping, and Machine Sanitation per company standards.
• Learn to pack all bag specifications and at all machines in production facility.
• Complete all documentation completely and accurately.
• Assist in the training of other Inspector/Packer personnel.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No previous experience required, on-the-job training provided.
• Specific Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jack.
• Computer Experience & Software: Basic computer skills.

Pay rate: $18.50/hr
