Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Packer-Inspector for its Greenville, SC facility. The role covers inspection and final packaging of finished products, adherence to safety rules, and active participation in team initiatives to improve processes.

It requires lifting up to 35 lbs, standing for long hours, and flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends. The successful candidate will communicate quality issues promptly to production and participate in problem-solving efforts while maintaining cleanliness

Qualifications

  • Able to read and write.
  • Pass drug screen, physical, and background check.
  • Able to work continuous operation schedule (days/nights/weekends).
  • Be available to work overtime if required.
  • Ability to read, interpret and perform the physical requirements of work instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Able to stand for 11 hours.
  • Communication of quality issues to production personnel in a timely manner.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing facility a plus.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the Packer-Inspector is responsible for the shift activities related to the inspection and final packaging of all finished product at the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES
