Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Petroleum Inspector to join Caleb Brett, working at a client facility in Nederland, TX. You will attend vessel loading, verify sampling, ensure proper samples, and complete final reports.

The role requires a valid driver's license and a reliable Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC). Travel to client terminals is expected, with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities

• Attend vessel loading at the client terminal and follow standard industry protocol.
• Verify the sampling and analysis system is functioning properly.
• Ensure the terminal representative is obtaining the proper samples.
• Notify the Operator if any non-conformance is identified during operations.
• Ensure the Petroleum volumes are independently obtained from certified tables and confirmed with the vessel representative.
• Complete final report upon completion of the vessel loading.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Current and Valid Driver's License with Reliable Driving Record Is Required
• Secure and maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
• Have reliable transportation to travel to and from client terminals

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience in the petroleum inspection industry with a focus on Petroleum inspection preferred
• Attention to detail and solid computer skills with a focus on Microsoft office
• Exhibit good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and follow the SOP's of our client facilities
