**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking a **Construction Inspector** in Rocky Hill, CT.

Responsibilities:

+ Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements by performing comprehensive inspection duties. This includes reviewing construction plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to ensure compliance.

+ Conduct daily field inspections of construction sites, materials, and workmanship.

+ Maintain detailed records of observations, measurements, and test results using appropriate documentation methods and software.

+ Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning activities. Identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure proper resolution.

+ Track quality assurance progress throughout the project lifecycle.

+ Prepare and submit clear, concise, and accurate inspection reports, including daily logs, progress reports, and final inspection summaries.

**Qualifications**

Minimum Requirements:

+ HS plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

+ NICET II certification or the ability to become NICET II certified.

+ Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Requirements:

+ Bachelors of Science degree in a relevant field can be accepted in lieu of required NICET certifications.

+ Willingness to work flexible schedules as needed for projects, including overnight work.

+ Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification, EIT, or Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $55.00/hour - $65.00/hour.
