CES Consultants, Inc. seeks an Inspector (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) to support field inspections along Metro-North Railroad’s Hudson Line in the Hudson Valley, NY.

You will monitor contractor activities, verify compliance with drawings, specs, and safety rules, and document daily progress with photos and reports. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience in construction inspection or MTA C&D/Metro North projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college.
• Experience in construction inspection or management for MTA C&D and/or Metro North projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections to verify compliance with drawings, contract specs, standards, and safety requirements.
• Identify nonconforming work, report deficiencies, and monitor corrective actions.
• Prepare daily inspection reports with progress, locations, and photos.
