Job summary

Halo Technical Solutions Global is seeking an Inspector - 1 to join our quality and commissioning team on large-scale industrial construction projects with a strong electrical scope. You will verify installation quality, ensure code compliance, and document field conditions on sites such as data centers and manufacturing facilities.

This full-time on-site role in Sullivan, Indiana requires 1–3 years of electrical inspection experience, hands-on electrical construction knowledge, NEC familiarity,

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical inspection experience.
• Strong background in electrical construction within industrial or large-scale commercial environments.
• Hands-on experience with electrical installations, systems, and field execution (conduit, cable tray, terminations, panels, switchgear).
• OSHA 10 certification prior to site arrival.
• NFPA 70E certification required (may be completed on arrival or within first month).
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (AHA) or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical inspections per ITPs and checklists.
• Verify installations meet drawings, specs, and codes.
• Document field conditions with photos, checklists, and reports; report deficiencies.
• Witness testing and record results as directed; complete inspection reports and QC docs.
• Upload records into project systems (ACC, CxAlloy); maintain QC files.
• Track punch list items and confirm corrective actions; communicate findings to team.
• Attend coordination meetings and document actions.
• Escalate safety or quality issues to leadership.
• Follow safety requirements and stop work for unsafe conditions.

Position Overview

The Inspector - 1 role is a key position within Halo Technical SolutionsGlobal’squality and commissioning team, supporting large-scale industrial construction projects with a strong electrical scope. This role ensures installation quality, code compliance, and execution standards are met in fast-paced, high-demand environments such as data centers, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical inspections in accordance with approved ITPs and inspection checklists
• Verify installations comply with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes
• Document field conditions through photos, checklists, and inspection reports Identify and report deficiencies and non-conformances to supervision
• Witness contractor testing activities and record results as directed Complete daily inspection reports and QC documentation accurately and on time
• Upload inspection records into project systems (ACC, CxAloy, etc.) Maintain organized QC files for assigned work areas
• Track punch list items and confirm corrective actions are completed Communicate inspection findings to contractors and project team members
• Attend coordination meetings and document action items
• Escalate technical, safety, or quality issues to Lead Inspector or QC management
• Follow al safety requirements and stop work for unsafe conditions

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical inspection experience
• Strong background in electrical construction within industrial or large-scale commercial environments (data centers, manufacturing plants, heavy industrial projects)
• Hands-on experience with electrical installations, systems, and field execution (conduit, cable tray, terminations, panels, switchgear, etc.)
• OSHA 10 prior to site arrival
• NFPA 70E certificationrequired(may be completed upon site arrivalor within first month of employment)
• First Aid , CPR , and AED Certification through the American Heart Association or must be willing to obtain within 30 days of arrival onsite
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
• Working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes and standards
• Strong attention to detail with a field-focused mindset in high-risk electrical environments
• Ability to accurately document findings in a clear and professional manner
• Reliable, accountable, and capable of working under supervision in the field
• Commitment to safety, quality, and complianceat all times

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Active construction environment with indoor and outdoor work in varying temperatures
• Extended periods of walking and standing
• Frequent climbing of ladders and scaffolds and use of aerial lifts/MEWPs following required training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces
• Availability for extended shifts, nights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience on data center, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects
• Familiarity with QA/QC platforms (ACC, CxAlloy, or similar)
• Exposure to field inspection workflows and punch list tracking
• Understanding of multi-trade coordination in active construction environments
