Job summary

Halo Technical Solutions Global seeks an Inspector to support quality and commissioning on large industrial construction projects with a strong electrical scope. You will perform inspections, verify code compliance, and document field conditions while ensuring safety and quality standards are met in data centers, manufacturing facilities, and other critical sites.

Your role involves witnessing contractor testing, maintaining QC records, and communicating findings to project teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical inspection experience.
• Industrial/large-scale electrical construction experience.
• Experience with electrical installations and field execution.
• OSHA 10 certification prior to site arrival.
• NFPA 70E certification required (may be obtained on site).
• First Aid, CPR, AED certification (or willingness within 30 days).
• Ability to read electrical drawings and NEC codes.
• Strong attention to detail in high-risk environments.
• Clear, professional documentation of findings.
• Reliable and capable of working under supervision.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Inspector - 1 role is a key position within Halo Technical SolutionsGlobal’squality and commissioning team, supporting large-scale industrial construction projects with a strong electrical scope. This role ensures installation quality, code compliance, and execution standards are met in fast-paced, high-demand environments such as data centers, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical inspections in accordance with approved ITPs and inspection checklists
• Verify installations comply with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes
• Document field conditions through photos, checklists, and inspection reports Identify and report deficiencies and non-conformances to supervision
• Witness contractor testing activities and record results as directed Complete daily inspection reports and QC documentation accurately and on time
• Upload inspection records into project systems (ACC, CxAloy, etc.) Maintain organized QC files for assigned work areas
• Track punch list items and confirm corrective actions are completed Communicate inspection findings to contractors and project team members
• Attend coordination meetings and document action items
• Escalate technical, safety, or quality issues to Lead Inspector or QC management
• Follow al safety requirements and stop work for unsafe conditions

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical inspection experience
• Strong background in electrical construction within industrial or large-scale commercial environments (data centers, manufacturing plants, heavy industrial projects)
• Hands-on experience with electrical installations, systems, and field execution (conduit, cable tray, terminations, panels, switchgear, etc.)
• OSHA 10 prior to site arrival
• NFPA 70E certificationrequired(may be completed upon site arrivalor within first month of employment)
• First Aid , CPR , and AED Certification through the American Heart Association or must be willing to obtain within 30 days of arrival onsite
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
• Working knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes and standards
• Strong attention to detail with a field-focused mindset in high-risk electrical environments
• Ability to accurately document findings in a clear and professional manner
• Reliable, accountable, and capable of working under supervision in the field
• Commitment to safety, quality, and complianceat all times

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Active construction environment with indoor and outdoor work in varying temperatures
• Extended periods of walking and standing
• Frequent climbing of ladders and scaffolds and use of aerial lifts/MEWPs following required training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces
• Availability for extended shifts, nights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience on data center, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects
• Familiarity with QA/QC platforms (ACC, CxAlloy, or similar)
• Exposure to field inspection workflows and punch list tracking
• Understanding of multi-trade coordination in active construction environments
