• Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving, and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
• Read and interpret planning documents, blueprints, and specifications to record inspection results clearly.
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to use.
• Interface with multiple departments on quality issues.
• Provide guidance to operators on quality specifications and procedures.
• Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports for QA.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Suggest improvements for the quality management system.
• Work in shop conditions; may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds; frequent standing, bending, etc.
• Wear PPE such as safety glasses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving, and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
• Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blueprints, specifications, and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete, and precise records of inspection.
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using.
• Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality.
• Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.
• Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.
• Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or less
• Requires frequent standing, bending, grasping and reaching
• Occasional walking, sitting, and speaking
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses
• Sense of sound, touch, and sight
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience: 1 plus years of experience in Inspection

Other Requirements: Familiar with precision tools
