Job summary

Impact ES-Vancouver is seeking a QA Inspector to verify PCB assemblies against IPC-A-610 standards and participate in LSR lean activities. The role requires microscopic inspection, certification maintenance, and accurate defect tracking within the MES and QA systems.

Responsibilities include passing/failing assemblies at in-line and final stages, operating x-ray and AOI equipment, and ensuring QMS compliance while supporting lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Inspect through a microscope and document results.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assemblies and pass/fail per IPC-A-610 class.
• Inspect assemblies at Final inspection and pass/fail.
• Operate SMT and Final QA SFE certifications and maintain them.
• Complete defect tracking in the database and submit AS9102 FA reports.
• Operate x-ray machines and AOI systems per work instructions.
• Run inline and batch washers and use MES to track job status.
• Create and close non-conformances/DMRs.
• Follow QMS procedures and help update work instructions.

Department: ProductionReports To: LeadSalary range: $21 - $24 HourlyPrincipal Accountabilities:

• • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications.
• • IPC-7711certified if team indicates the need for more qualified personnel.
• • Inspect assemblies using 3D AOI system and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class.
• • Inspect assemblies at Final inspection and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class.
• • SMT and Final QA SFE certified and maintain that certification.
• • Complete defect tracking in database.
• • Complete AS9102 FA reports and submit to QA.
• • Operate either x-ray machines per work instructions
• • Operate AOI systems per work instructions
• • Run in-line and batch washers per work instruction
• • Use the MES to track time the status of jobs
• • Create and complete non-conformances/DMR's
• • Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion documentation.
• • Help to update procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process.
• • Maintain 6S standards and continually look for ways to improve processes.
• • Follow safety, ESD, ITAR and QMS protocols.
• • Actively participate in Lean activities and embrace change.
