Job summary

Impact Electronic Solutions, located in Washington, seeks a QA inspector to ensure IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 conformance. You will inspect assemblies with 3D AOI, conduct final inspections, and maintain AS9102 FA paperwork within the MES framework.

Responsibilities include defect tracking, updating procedures, maintaining 5S, and adhering to safety, ESD, ITAR, and QMS protocols while supporting Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• IPC-7711 certification may be required if team needs more qualified personnel.
• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications held and maintained.
• Inspect assemblies with 3D AOI and pass/fail per IPC-A-610.
• Inspect assemblies at final inspection per IPC-A-610.
• SMT and Final QA SFE certifications held and maintained.
• Complete AS9102 FA reports and submit to QA.
• Operate x-ray machines per work instructions.
• Operate AOI systems per work instructions; run in-line and batch washers.
• Use MES to track time and status of jobs.
• Create and complete non-conformances/DMRs.
• Read, understand, and navigate Fusion documentation.
• Help update procedures/work instructions to match current process.
• Maintain 5S standards and look for process improvements.
• Follow safety, ESD, ITAR and QMS protocols.
• Actively participate in Lean activities and embrace change.
• Follow QMS procedures for your area.
