Job summary

Vertical Aerospace in Bristow, OK, seeks an experienced Inspector to perform in-process and final inspection of repaired aircraft components using CMM, OHM, and SRM data to determine airworthiness. You will document results and prepare QA forms.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical schooling preferred.
• Experience interpreting blueprints and CMM/OHM/SRM data for aircraft repair/overhaul.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of repaired components using CMM, OHM and SRM data to determine airworthiness and acceptability.
• Document discrepancies and coordinate resolution with Production, Engineering and MRB as appropriate.
• Ensure inspection documentation and work instructions comply with quality systems and engineering specifications.
• Assist other inspectors in in-process inspections within areas of qualification.
• Support QA in Shelf Life, Calibration, Scrapping, Internal Audits, First Article Inspection, Receiving Inspection, etc.

# INSPECTORVertical Aerospace - Bristow, OK 74010## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## DescriptionTo provide key inspection duties for Vertical Aerospace.* In-process and Final Inspection of all types of repaired and overhauled aircraft components including Thrust reversers, Flight Controls, Fan Cowls, Nose Cowls, Ducting etc.: Using CMM, OHM, SRM and other data necessary to determine airworthiness and acceptability. Maintain and document results and prepare QA Forms* Document discrepancies and coordinate resolution with assigned areas of Production, Engineering, and/or Material Review Board (MRB) as appropriate* Ensure all inspection documentation and production work instructions are complete and comply with quality system and engineering specifications* Assist other inspectors in the performance of their duties including in-process inspections within area(s) of qualification* Support Quality department in various responsibilities including Shelf Life, Calibration, Scrapping of Parts, Internal Audits, First Article Inspection, Receiving Inspection, etc.## Qualifications**EDUCATION:** High School graduate, GED, or equivalent. Technical School or College preferred. Must be able to read, write and speak English**EXPERIENCE:** Prefer 5 + years working in an FAA FAR Part 145 Repair Station, Must be able to interpret blueprints, and comprehend CMM, OHM and SRM Data in relation to the repair and overhaul of aircraft components. Experience with FAA rules and regulations. **SKILLS:** Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work in a multi-different environment, Quantum experience a plus, NDT certification preferred, strong computer skills
