Job summary

Randstad USA in Fairfield, CA, seeks an Inspector for over 250 global sites to ensure precision and conformance to drawings, GD&T, and PO specs. Requires a high school diploma and 3-5 years of inspection experience with GD&T and CMM skills.

You will perform meticulous receiving inspections, record results, and coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and support audits. AQL planning and continuous improvement initiatives are welcome.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of inspection experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• GD&T and CMM skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform meticulous dimensional and visual receiving inspections on incoming parts, assemblies, and materials.
• Test product quality using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical equipment, and CMM Manager software.
• Record inspection results and verify supplier certifications; initiate quality notifications for nonconforming materials.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies and support audits.
• Assist with AQL sampling, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvement to reduce backlogs.

Responsibilities

• Perform meticulous dimensional and visual receiving inspections on incoming parts, assemblies, and materials for Our Client to verify strict compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and purchase order specifications.
• Utilize precision tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical measurement equipment, and CMM Manager software to test product quality and program CMM inspections.
• Meticulously record inspection results, verify supplier certification packages, and initiate quality notifications for nonconforming materials to maintain complete traceability for Our Client.
• Partner with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve inspection discrepancies, manage material dispositions, and support internal and external quality audits for Our Client.
• Support AQL sampling plans, maintain inspection equipment and work areas, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce receiving inspection backlogs for Our Client.
