The mission of Technical Services/Manufacturing Sciences (TS/MS):

To provide scientific leadership and technical support for manufacturing to produce medicine today and in the future. The Visual Inspection Test Administrator is a key member of a cross-functional team, providing training and qualification for operations involving inspection processes. This role requires daily interaction with a diverse range of personnel, including customers, staff, and site management.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a safe work environment, lead safety initiatives, and support all HSE goals.
  2. Train, provide feedback, and qualify visual inspection personnel in sorting techniques and re-qualification strategies.
  3. Assess skills and competencies, coordinate On-the-Job-Trainers (OJTs), and provide on-the-job feedback to reinforce training and techniques.
  4. Revise key procedures and training courses to improve clarity and usability for sorters.
  5. Communicate changes to forms, tools, and templates before they take effect.
  6. Provide feedback during training to ensure proper sorting techniques.
  7. Maintain printed or electronic documentation logs.

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.12 to $46.88 per hour, depending on education, experience, and location. Full-time employees are eligible for bonuses, benefits, 401(k), pension, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, leave benefits, and well-being programs. Lilly reserves the right to modify these offerings as needed.
