Overview

Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. (West Allis, WI) is seeking multiple Inspection Technicians to perform engineering evaluation, inspection, and auditing of customerst shot blasting operations. The goal is to develop engineering recommendations to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, durability, longevity, and safety of machinery and systems installed at customer locations, and to identify opportunities to purchase Blast Cleaning Technologies equipment, systems, and services.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering evaluations, inspections, and audits of customerst shot blasting operations.
• Develop detailed engineering reports on existing and potential customerst shot blasting operations to identify opportunities for service engineering, equipment upgrades, and new equipment installations.
• Assist the engineering department in discovering, developing, and proposing new or improved designs, systems, and technologies to better address customer needs.
• Provide after-sale support, warranty inspection, technical training, and technical advice regarding use, operation, and maintenance of Blast Cleaning Technologies machinery and systems.
• Contribute to the development and production of technical literature and other customer education materials to support the Companys engineering-based sales and service approach.

Travel and Work Arrangement

• Travel: Extensive travel required – 50% domestically within the U.S. and 25% internationally to Mexico.
• Work from home benefits: Fully remote — may reside anywhere in the United States.

Other Experience and Qualifications

• Two years of service or sales engineering experience within the shot blasting or shot preening industrial equipment industry, including technical evaluation or inspection of customer service cleaning or strengthening operations.
• Experience developing reports recommending equipment purchase, service, or training to improve customer operations, and training customer staff in the installation, operation, or maintenance of shot blasting or shot preening equipment.
