Job summary

Qnity Electronics, Inc. is seeking a production/operator associate to support fast‑paced, high‑tech manufacturing operations in Newark, DE.

The role involves monitoring complex processes, operating equipment, and performing quality inspections to meet strict production specifications. You will participate in ongoing training, collaborate with teammates, and follow safety and housekeeping standards to ensure efficient, safe production cycles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Vocational school or Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2 years Prior work experience in an industrial environment is preferred (manufacturing, warehousing or equivalent).

• Follow established team standards for housekeeping, preventative maintenance and production schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems and drive continuous improvements that deliver business value.
• Participate in driving excellence in Area performance through active engagement in shift/turnover meetings, problem solving sessions and training events

Our Operations team is essential to deliver the innovative products we make for our customers. Shift:

• Day shift (6:30am-6pm)or Night (6:30pm-6am)
• Work a 12-hour shift schedule including holidays and weekends
• You may train on a different shift than what you're ultimately hired for
• Work paid overtime when required

Pay Rate: $25

Your key responsibilities are to:

Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Vocational school or Associate’s degree preferred
• 2 years Prior work experience in an industrial environment is preferred (manufacturing, warehousing or equivalent trade)

Physical Requirements: Has the ability to:

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hat
• Wear quality protective equipment (QPE) including but not limited to coveralls, hair/beard nets, shoe covers
• Climb stairs and ladders, bend, squat, push, pull, stand for extended periods of time and perform overhead work
• Lift > up to 10 lbs. frequently and lift > 11 to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Perform work that requires manual dexterity and repetitive movements of the upper extremities
• Work in an environment of varying degrees of temperature and humidity
• Work in scissor/Aerial lifts
• Handle chemicals and materials in a safe manner as per standard operating procedures
