Valdese Weavers is a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company and has been in business for over 100 years. As one of the largest woven textile mills in the world, Valdese Weavers designs and manufactures residential and contract-grade fabrics for furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, and large retailers.

2nd and 3rd shift do receive a shift premium of $1.00. We offer a $50 attendance bonus for every two weeks in which you miss no time, not including our shutdown periods. This bonus would provide an extra $0.62 to your hourly rate.

Scope

Move and store fabric as needed

PPE

Hearing protection in high noise areas, safety belt when using cherry picker, seat belt on fork lift, other as needed to do an assignment safely

Tools and equipment used

motorized equipment, general office supplies, LXE gun, scissors, bagger, and conveyor belt

Essential Functions

• Safety:
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
  • Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  • Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
• Attendance:
  • Maintain personal attendance practices to meet established company goals.

  • Maintain personal work habits, which meet the demands and stresses of the job.
  • Meet deadlines and production quotas.
