Agiliti is seeking an Inspection Engineer to advance metrology capabilities through automation, software development, and process improvement. You will design, develop, and modify CNC metrology programs and automated inspection systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
The role involves developing turnkey inspection solutions, creating documentation for fixtures and gages, and presenting results to technical stakeholders.

As an Inspection Engineer, you will play a critical role in advancing our metrology and inspection capabilities through automation, software development, and continuous process improvement.

Apply computer systems analysis techniques and consult with users to determine hardware, software, and system functional specifications for inspection and measurement solutions. Design, develop, document, and modify computer programs and prototypes for CNC metrology equipment and automated inspection systems based on user and system design specifications. Create automated measurement programs for manual and CNC metrology equipment, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency. Design and procure functional gaging when opportunities for gaging in lieu of measurement are identified. Develop documentation for programs, fixtures, and gages to deliver turnkey solutions. Report and present inspection results to technical audiences, explaining data implications for parts and projects. Research and propose metrology innovations to continuously improve processes.
