Clean Harbors in Tualatin, OR is seeking an Insite Operations Manager II responsible to oversee all Company activities and manager the InSite staff on the customer site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Health and Safety is the #1 priority; comply with safe work practices.
  • Manage safety oversight of onsite employees for customer programs.
  • Track facility-wide waste generation, storage, and disposal with reports.
  • Package waste properly to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
  • Schedule transportation and disposal for outgoing wastes.
  • Maintain adequate levels of equipment for routine service and projects.
  • Scope special projects and provide estimates.
  • Assist customers with data for Generator's Annual Report and other reporting.
  • Conduct facility-wide compliance audits and housekeeping reviews.
  • Provide weekly status reports to facility management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
  • Manage and coordinate the efforts and Health and Safety oversite of the Clean Harbors onsite employees for customer's air, water, and/or hazardous waste programs.
  • Manager and track facility wide "cradle to grave" waste generation, storage, and disposal by providing waste tracking reports.
  • Responsible for proper packaging of waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
  • Schedule transportation and disposal for outgoing wastes as needed.
  • Maintain adequate levels of equipment for routine service needs and ongoing projects.
  • Scope special projects and provide estimates.
  • Assist customers with compiling data necessary for completing the Generator's Annual Report and other required reporting functions.
  • Conduct facility wide compliance audits to include inspections of staging, accumulating and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance.
  • Provide weekly status reports to facility management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent computer skills with applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain effective professional relationships while leading/mentoring in a team atmosphere
  • A team player, with the ability to be a collaborative team member and supportive leader
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills
  • Leadership experience
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements
  • Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
