Job summary

UPS is seeking an intern to support the Americas Region Marketing team with analysis, research, reporting, and presentation preparation. You will translate data into actionable insights and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Requirements include current enrollment in a degree program (Business Admin, Data Analytics, Data Science, ML/AI), proficiency in Excel and PowerBI, with Python and SQL preferred. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA for late May–early August 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be a student currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program.
• Must be pursuing a major in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning/AI, or equivalent at enrolled college/university.
• Must be a rising college junior or senior at internship start - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops actionable research objectives to address key business issues.
• Performs analysis, analyzes data, and interprets findings to ensure comprehensive understanding of results before presenting to stakeholders.
• Maintains understanding of current market and industry practices to leverage knowledge for customer analysis.
• Communicates findings and insights from analysis to key stakeholders.
• Builds databases to manage data for new reports.
• Builds reports to summarize information, trends, and analyses using graphs, charts, and text.
• Documents reporting processes to facilitate development of standard reports.
• Documents queries used to build reports to ensure replicability.
• Interacts with data providers regarding source data to ensure quality and efficiency of processing.
