Job summary

Global Prairie in Kansas City, Missouri seeks a Director, Insight & Strategy to transform complex data into strategic insights and campaigns. You will guide research initiatives and lead a multidisciplinary team of researchers, strategists and creatives to craft data-driven storytelling.

The role requires 8+ years in marketing/brand strategy, experience with data analytics and AI platforms, and ability to mentor others. The compensation range is $110k-$150k, with ESOP and benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in marketing, account planning, communications, brand strategy, data analytics, consulting or related field.
• Willingness and availability to travel occasionally.
• Experience with data analytics and AI platforms such as MRI Simmons, Meltwater, Claude AI, Copilot and/or Chat GPT.
• Experience leading qualitative and quantitative research projects.
• Healthcare/pharma clients preferred but not required.
• Agriculture/energy/sustainability clients preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Harness data and insights to develop and oversee actionable strategies for audiences, brands and campaigns across paid, earned, owned and shared media.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of complex research projects (quant/qual) and secondary research.
• Co-lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to drive client deliverables.
• Design and facilitate workshops for client audiences to drive strategic discussions.
• Authors and presents proposals to sell our approach.
• Develop strategic recommendations in audience insights, brand and campaign strategy, change management, corporate culture.
• Innovate ways to visualize, craft storylines and present insights and solutions.
• Delve into data and analytics to guide measurement and reporting with insights and recommendations.
• Leverage AI for greater impact across work.
• Serve as strategic consultant to internal and external client teams.
• Identify and drive growth via expanding insight & strategy services.
• Mentor Managers and Associates within the Insight & Strategy team.
