Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking an Insider Threat Detection Engineer to protect people, data, and assets globally. You will engineer detection workflows, develop alerting for insider risk, and dissect artifacts from multiple operating systems to uncover threats.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security experience across major platforms (AWS, Azure, Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell (or similar).
• Familiarity with endpoint telemetry and log sources from major OSes.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and automate end-to-end detection and investigation workflows in Detection and Response.
• Develop alerting and detection strategies to identify malicious/anomalous behavior.
• Dissect network, host, memory, and artifacts from multiple operating systems.
• Investigate security events and active attacks to uncover insider risks.
• Influence and inform security controls to safeguard assets.
• Partner with Information Security to lead changes in network defense posture.
