Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an Insider Threat Engineer to protect people, IP, and systems across identity, endpoint, cloud, and data-protection platforms. You will build detections, automation, and investigation tools while collaborating with Security, Legal, HR, Privacy, IT, and engineering teams.

The role requires coding proficiency, strong analytical skills, and experience turning complex activity into timelines and findings for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Data Eng, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of insider threat, detection engineering, security operations, incident response, or related security field.
• Experience conducting security investigations with scope, evidence collection, timelines, and findings.
• Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, DLP, UEBA, EDR, insider-risk management, and identity security.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy, and tune detections across identity, endpoint, cloud, SaaS, collaboration platforms, source-code, build systems, and data signals.
• Lead and support investigations involving unusual data movement, unapproved app use, external sharing, access anomalies, compromised accounts, and employee transitions.
• Collect and correlate information from multiple sources to reconstruct activity and establish timelines.
• Develop automation, data pipelines, dashboards, and tools to reduce manual work and improve investigation efficiency.
