Job summary

NVIDIA is hiring an Insider Threat Engineer to protect our people, IP, and engineering systems. You will build detections, automation, and investigation tools across identity, endpoint, cloud, and data-protection platforms.

You will turn technical information into timelines and findings for Security, Legal, HR, Privacy, and partners. The role requires engineering experience, rigorous investigative capability, and clear written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in insider threat, detection engineering, security operations, or related security fields.
• Experience conducting security investigations, including defining scope and collecting evidence.
• Experience with SIEM, DLP, UEBA, EDR, and related security technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and building automation with APIs and structured data.
• Knowledge of identity, cloud services, data exfiltration methods, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy, and tune insider-threat detections across multiple domains.
• Lead investigations involving unusual data movement, external sharing, access anomalies, and compromised accounts.
• Collect and correlate information from endpoint, identity, cloud, source-code, and data sources to reconstruct activity and timelines.
• Develop automation, data pipelines, dashboards, and investigation tools to reduce manual work.
• Improve detection coverage, alert quality, and integration with case-management workflows.
• Present findings with clear confidence levels and discuss data limitations and alternative explanations.
