Summary Job Description

This position is responsible for applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.

  • Use various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furniture.
  • Build pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly.
  • Must be able to read and follow production tickets.
  • Must be able to line, spot match, 4-way line and tuft.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous upholstery experience a plus.
