Job summary

Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers is seeking an Inside Service Technician to operate at a Goodyear CTSC location, performing tire and related services for commercial fleets. You will train in mounting, inspection, repair, retreading support, and safety protocols, with emphasis on service excellence and OSHA-compliant practices.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 months of relevant tire service experience; a mechanical aptitude and the ability to work safely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 months previous Commercial Service Tire or other relevant experience.
• Must possess a mechanical aptitude.
• Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Service Commercial Tires including dismounting and mounting any type of tire.
• Train to perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and make such repairs.
• Remove tires for retreading or repair as needed.
• Properly execute required service ticket to submit to management.
• Clean and maintain service equipment.
• Provide Service Excellence to meet location and customer goals.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Wear proper PPE and follow all safety policies.
