Job summary

Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers in Nashville is seeking an Inside Service Technician to support tire mounting, dismounting, inflation, and related services for commercial tires. You will help with retreading support, service tickets, and equipment maintenance in a safety-conscious environment.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED and a basic mechanical aptitude; prior commercial tire experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a mechanical aptitude and able to follow safety procedures.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities are required.
• Candidates should be self-motivated, take initiative, and work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Service Commercial Tires including dismounting and mounting tires of various types.
• Train to perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout checks as needed.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs or removals for retreading or repair.
• Complete service tickets accurately and submit to management.
• Clean and maintain service equipment and work area.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements; wear PPE.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels.
• Attend appropriate training sessions as required.
