Job summary

Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers is hiring an Inside Service Technician to service and repair commercial tires at a Goodyear CTSC location. You will dismount/mount tires, perform match mounting, inflate to correct PSI, and assess repairability while documenting service work.

You will follow OSHA safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain equipment, contributing to Goodyear's Service Excellence standard.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required; able to diagnose issues and perform tire service tasks.
• Strong oral and written communication to document service and interact with customers.
• Commitment to safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial tires including dismounting and mounting tires.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout checks as needed.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Remove tires for retreading or repair as necessary.
• Prepare and submit service tickets with accurate details to management.
• Maintain service equipment and keep work area clean and safe.
• Provide Service Excellence to meet location and customer goals; follow all safety policies.
