Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. seeks an Inside Sales professional to grow revenue by acquiring new accounts and fostering customer relationships. Expect ~80% office work and ~20% yard duties, with duties including processing orders, quotes, and deliveries. A minimum of 2 years in customer service and inside sales is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience required.
• 2+ years inside sales/direct customer contact experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working with a team and independently.
• Technologically capable: Microsoft Suite; CAD and AS/400 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and document all calls to assist customers with rental needs and inquiries.
• Process rental transactions: reservations, scheduling pickups, quotes, and driver orders.
• Assist walk-in customers, vendors, or job applicants professionally.
• Help customers choose equipment to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with yard, shop, dispatch, and field sales for each order.
