Job description

Summary: Nice North America — home to iconic brands Furman and Gefen — is looking for a driven, ambitious Inside Sales Specialist to accelerate growth across ProAV sales channels worldwide. This is a high-impact, customer facing role for someone who understands the value of working with distributors, resellers, and system integrators — and who’s ready to build relationships, drive pipeline, and close business. You’ll help manage the full sales cycle, collaborating closely with leadership, product management, and marketing to deliver results through channel partners. Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour, depending on experience. This role also offers commission opportunities tied to individual performance.

Location: This role can be based in either our Carlsbad, CA or Kent, WA office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build strong working relationships with key contacts at distribution partners and reseller accounts to drive joint business plans, promotions, and pipeline growth.
  • Mine historical sales and account data to identify and hunt for sales winback opportunities from accounts that have not purchased in defined periods.
  • Execute call campaigns, sometimes with dead or cold leads, to restart sales activities with defined accounts.
  • Support ProAV sales team in gathering information for RFP’s or partner pitches, maintaining account data, developing quotes, order entry and follow-up, etc.
  • Conduct data analysis, manage data entry for project pipeline management and orders, and provide on-the-spot information for presentations to customers and internal executives.
  • Accelerate pipeline generation and sales by leveraging data to identify purchase patterns and trends and proactively communicate to accounts.
  • Assist with prospecting to identify new opportunities with distributors, resellers, IT solution providers, and system integrators to expand the reach of Furman and Gefen solutions.
  • Expand account penetration by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the Furman and Gefen product lines.
  • Co-manage the sales cycle from new leads and opportunities from first contact through qualification, presentation, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop targeted outbound campaigns, nurture inbound leads, and create new conversations through cold outreach, social selling, and account-based strategies.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams to coordinate territory planning, pipeline development, and promotional activities.
  • Maintain CRM excellence by accurately documented activities, maintain pipeline updates, track opportunity stages, and ensure reporting clarity in CRM (e.g., Dynamics CRM or Salesforce).
  • Organize webinars, virtual trainings, product demos, and select channel events to promote Furman and Gefen solutions and educate partners.
  • Deliver regular updates to leadership on pipeline health, forecasted revenue, lead quality, and customer trends.
  • Partner with accounts receivable and sales to identify overdue balances and collect payments.
  • Lead the charge in transitioning manual order to online systems, fostering a best-in-class experience through purchasing and self-service account management.
  • Work with Customer Service and Order Entry teams to monitors and manages email order inboxes to ensure the 24-hour turnaround time for order entry.
  • Liaise with Customer Service and Warehouse teams to ensure no dollars are left on the table at month end.
  • Spearhead a project to create the company’s first deal registration program for ProAV partners.
  • Provide feedback and ideas to help refine sales processes, tools, and strategies to aid in division growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of inside sales, channel sales or marketing, or technology sales experience; strong candidates with related distributor/reseller experience will be considered even with less formal sales background.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Dynamics CRM or Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Advanced analytical abilities to evaluate new and existing opportunities to grow sales.
  • Experience in managing vendor and partner relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where impact is visible.
  • A fast learner who can creatively match products to customer needs.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, influence decision-makers, and the ability to design systems that meet complex customer needs.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong prospecting, relationship building, and closing skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Expertise in managing technical projects, with a focus on delivering on-time and within budget while meeting customer specifications.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on long-term partnership and customer satisfaction.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Computer literacy required, including advanced skills in Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel skills for quoting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented in managing multiple accounts and follow-ups.
  • An ability to remain resilient and focused in ambiguous and evolving situations.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus and enhances communication with a broader customer base.
