Job summary

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is seeking a full-time team member to assist customers in a fast-paced building-supply environment. You will negotiate with vendors, place orders, assist walk-in customers, and generate price quotes.

You will maintain the showroom, handle order payments, resolve complaints, support outside sales, and interact with vendors for product training. A high school diploma and strong computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building industry and products.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with sales tools.
• Experience in construction or building supply sales is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate prices and place orders with outside vendors.
• Communicate with customers and staff regarding delivery changes.
• Assist walk-in customers and pull small orders.
• Process order payments when required.
• Generate price quotes for customers.
• Maintain showroom and workstation in neat condition.
• Resolve customer complaints and problems promptly.
• Remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Support outside sales and interact with vendors for training.
