Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what’s special about each local marketplace.

Hajoca is looking for an Inside Sales & Service Representative at their Quincy, IL location.

Pay for Inside Sales & Service Representative is between $30,000 and $50,000 per year at this location.

Do you have the determination to close sales and build lasting relationships with new and existing customers? If so, we’d like you to join our team as an Inside Sales & Service Representative.

About the Role:

You will:

1. Meet or exceed the sales targets established by your Manager.
2. Work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets.
3. Accurately process Sales Orders and Bids generated through telephone sales transactions.
4. Assist customers who pick up their order at our Profit Center.
5. Find innovative ways to grow sales with existing customers and become their trusted advisor.
6. Generate sales leads that develop into new customers.
7. Identify opportunities for value-added services and articulate our solutions.
8. Investigate and resolve customer problems, address pricing deductions and material returns timely and in accordance with Company policy and procedure, and follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
9. Support Counter and Outside Sales activities and all Profit Center activities as part of our Profit Center team.
10. Communicate to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager any changes in a customer’s business that might cause a credit risk.
11. Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
12. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

About You:

1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales; contractor sales preferred.

Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center preferred.

• Valid driver's license

1. Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain weekly sales plans, call reports, and customer contact files, and to analyze customer data.
2. Demonstrate outstanding customer service, telephone/verbal communication, and generous listening skills.
3. Demonstrate product knowledge to answer customer questions and identify opportunities to upsell or cross sell.
4. Build influential relationships and trust with customers and vendors through open and interactive communication.
5. Be able to ask probing questions to understand customer needs, overcome objections by recommending profitable solutions, explain our value-added services, and ask for the order and close the sale.
6. Be able to build positive working relationships and inspire teamwork with co-workers.
7. Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process orders.
8. Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.

• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
