Heritage Builders is seeking two motivated Roofing Sales Representatives for a 100% remote role. You will engage homeowners in exterior home improvements, build relationships, and close sales from a home-based setup across Eastern or Central Time zones.

The position emphasizes ramp-through training with guaranteed onboarding and performance-based commissions, supporting your growth within Heritage Builders and Allied Roofing Partners.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working directly with homeowners in exterior home services (roofing, siding, windows, gutters, or related).
• Previous sales experience and the ability to build relationships and close business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities.
• Comfort with computers, CRM systems, and remote communication tools.
• Reliable internet access and a professional remote workspace.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and receive coaching.

We are expanding our remote sales team and seeking two motivated Roofing Sales Representatives who want to build relationships, help homeowners, and grow with our organization.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a 100% remote sales position. Candidates do not need to live in New Jersey; however, applicants must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone. We especially welcome candidates with roofing, siding, windows, gutters, solar, or other exterior home improvement sales experience. Strong sales professionals from other industries are also encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate communicates confidently with homeowners, follows up consistently, manages sales opportunities independently, and enjoys working toward measurable results.

COMPENSATION & EARNING OPPORTUNITY

First 90 Days — Paid Training & Ramp-Up

$24 per hour plus commission.

1% commission on sales when the closing rate is below 20%.

1.5% commission on sales when the closing rate is above 20%.

Paid onboarding, product education, and sales support.

After 90 Days — 100% Commission-Based

3% commission on sales.

The $24 hourly rate ends after the first 90 days.

Earnings are based on individual sales performance, with continued coaching and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Homeowner Relationships

• Speak with homeowners to understand roofing needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Manage incoming sales opportunities and follow up with prospective customers.
• Present roofing options, estimates, and proposals; address questions and close sales.
• Build trust through timely, professional, customer-focused communication.

Pipeline Management & Performance

• Manage assigned opportunities from first contact through closing.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and follow-up schedules in the CRM.
• Follow up on leads and open proposals to support closing goals.Coordinate with internal teams to help ensure a smooth handoff to production.
• Participate in virtual sales meetings, training, and performance discussions.

Remote Work & Accountability

• Work independently in a productive, professional remote environment.
• Stay accessible to customers and colleagues through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
• Demonstrate strong time management, organization, and follow-through.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have experience working directly with homeowners in exterior home services (such as roofing, siding, windows, gutters, or related home improvement services).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Residential roofing sales experience or sales in roofing-adjacent industries (siding, windows, gutters, solar, exterior remodeling).
• Remote or inside sales experience, including phone-based homeowner consultations.
• Familiarity with roofing estimates, sales proposals, and CRM or estimating platforms.
• History of meeting sales goals and managing leads with consistent follow-up.
