The Opportunity

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics, part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family, supports diagnostic testing for disease management. The Inside Sales Executive (ISE) role within our Cardiometabolic business is field-based, remote, with 20% travel within Iowa.

The ISE is responsible for achieving sales goals within an assigned region, collaborating with team members and third-party partners such as distribution channels and GPOs.

What You’ll Work On
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and address issues promptly.
  • Use sales skills to uncover customer needs and present targeted solutions.
  • Navigate complex sales environments with decision-makers like hospital administrators, lab managers, healthcare professionals, and others.
  • Sell effectively across healthcare settings, including hospitals, physician offices, urgent care centers, and health systems.
  • Perform virtual product demonstrations and training.
  • Conduct account research using tools like Salesforce.com, Power BI, and Hospital Compare.
  • Engage in market outreach and manage inbound inquiries.
  • Coordinate on-site meetings and provide support to team members.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com.
Minimum Requirements
  • 4-year college degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare drivers, clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.
  • Experience in inside or outside sales, including cold calling.
  • Strong analytical skills and business planning abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, rapport-building, and customer focus.
  • Impactful questioning and active listening skills.
